معید پیرزادہ نے اپنی ٹویٹ میں علیمہ خان کا کلپ شیئر کیا جس میں وہ کہہ رہی ہیں کہہ عمران خان کو پھانسی دینے کا پلان بنایا جارہا ہے۔ اس پر معید پیرزدہ نے جذباتی ٹویٹ کرتے ہوئے لکھا (اردو ترجمہ) "اگر آج میرا باپ زندہ ہوتا تو میں اس سے پوچھتا تم 1957 میں ایم بی بی ایس کرنے کے بعد کیوں کسی مغربی ملک میں شفٹ نہیں کرگئے؟ کیوں ہمیں اذیتے جھیلنےکیلئے ایک ایسے ملک میں چھوڑدیا جس کا کوئی مستقبل نہیں۔"
