Hello Guys I wrote This article in reply to Indian Media Attack On Our cricket Team.Kindly upload this article Thanks “For many, it's bigger than a World Cup” The India Pakistan cricket rivalry is one of the most intense sports rivalries in the world. The first ever match between India and Pakistan was played at Delhi in 1952. Since then, Pakistan and India are the most critical rivals in cricket and it becomes a do or die situation for their supporters when the teams are in the field. Pakistan and India will face each other in a high voltage clash at the Adelaide Oval on 15th February, 2015.
Pakistanis, being the most resilient nation on earth, will Inshallah beat India at the field this time thus breaking the world cup record against India. Pakistan, in the past has done unbelievable and terrible mistakes in selection, training the players, management and also the players have taken wrong decisions at the field. But, I have a strong believe this time Pakistan can beat India. Why? Because: We have talented players like Sohaib Maqsood, Ahmed Shehzad, Mohammad Irfan, Haris Sohail and Umar Akmal. Then we have experienced Misbah ul Haq, Shahid Afridi and Younis Khan with 155, 391 and 261 ODIs respectively in their profiles. Sohail Khan, Wahab Riaz, Yasir Shah and Rahat Ali are no less.
Since arriving in Adelaide in November, India has lost a test series and been thrashed by Australia and England in a one-day tournament, the same format of cricket played in the World Cup. And so Pakistan has the potential to surprise its defenders and attackers. Here I would also like to add that Pakistan has a better overall record against India in ODI cricket, but not to forget that India has the hex on its neighbor in the World Cups. Both Pakistan and India have met 5 times at the tournament, most recently the Semifinal in 2011, and India has won every time. This time, we won’t just let it go! Insh Allah.
Another reason for Pakistan to win is the heart throb Shahid Afridi – The attacking batsman in the business has announced retirement after the World Cup. Since he had said that he could do better AB de Villiers’ fastest hundred record, he will definitely look to go for the kill. There might not be stopping the Boom Boom man this time who also hit a last-ball six to take Pakistan through against India in Asia Cup, 2014. Mohammad Irfan has pace and can hit the deck. He will be effective in the Australian conditions. Wahab Riaz did well against India in 2011 too. Shahid Afridi can be a dangerous bowler down under with his vicious spin which is fast as well. On the other hand, India have bowlers who are clueless about line and length, leave alone going for wickets.
Considering the depth in India’s batting lineup with the likes of Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Ajinkya Rahane and Mahendra Dhoni, their big batting pillars, Umar and Saeed could have been proved handy for Pakistan. If we go down in history, we had best bowling and batting players and so India never played against Pakistan for almost 10years showing security as the main concern. They were offered to play in England after winning T20 in 2009, but they refused continually making security or injuries of players as the main concern.
Misbah-ul-Haq, Younus Khan, Shahid Afridi and Ahmed Shehzad need to adjust quickly in a short time. We need big scores, keeping in mind the bowling resources we have. I am pretty sure 290-320 could challenge India’s strong batting. Pakistan has to plan its innings according to the circumstances and should not forget that it must, at any cost have its main 2 players score high – very high. And then the rest of them could chip in with good scores to make a solid target for its rivals. If it scores 290 above, it would be shaky for India to chase it in Adelaide. Pakistan can chase over 240 runs in Adelaide. Apart from Misbah and Younis, we have extremely talented Sohaib Maqsood, Ahmed Shehzad , Haris Sohail, Umar Akmal and not to forget Shahid Afridi. If Miandad could battle with back injury thoughour the 1992 world cup, why can’t our brave players have victory over its rivals.
Going down in history, Pakistan won 3 matches and India won 2 in last 5 appearances including famous win in Asia Cup. It has been said again and again in times that Pakistan has never beaten India in World Cups. I appreciate Indian team for their victories, but Germany has never beaten Italy in Fifa World Cups, but Germans are Germans. Pakistan has played 126 ODIs against India till date and Pakistan won 72 whereas India won 50, 4 matches had no result. Some spectacular wins of Pakistan against India include: Pakistan did beat India ICC champion’s trophy in 2004 and 2009 Pakistan did Beat India (Austral-Asia Cup, 1986) Pakistan did beat India Nehru cup 1989 (top 6 teams participated) Pakistan did beat India in Austral-Asia Cup, 1990 Pakistan defeated India in 1991/92 Wills Trophy.
Pakistan did beat India in Austral-Asia Cup, 1994 Pakistan did beat India in Sahara Cup in Canada 1996, 1998 (Ind-Pak) Pakistan did beat India 1998/99 Pepsi Cup Pakistan did beat India in Australia three nation series in 2000 (3-1) Pakistan did beat India 2008 Kit ply Cup Pakistan has played 30 matches in India, Pakistan won 19 and Indian won 11 At other venues, Pakistan played 69 matches against India and won 39 whereas India won 28 It is also believed that India dominates Pakistan since last 15 years, which is also just a myth. In that time span, they played 48 ODIs where Pakistan won 25 and India won 23.
From last 10 ODIs both won 5 each. On this 15th February, Let’s play fearless cricket even if we lose we can still make it to quarterfinals and play against India in semifinal or final if both teams win quarterfinals. The men in Blue are yet to taste victory in Australian conditions and do not look in the best of form. It is no different for the men in Green too – who lost to New Zealand – but the team spirit is much higher and better than the Indians. The World Cup is a long tournament so both India and Pakistan have time to hit their stride. They have been used as platforms for peace talks and can be a matter of life or death for some fans. Let us keep the sports as sports and pray hard for the victory of our Greens. “Anyone can have a desire to touch the sky, but those who really do, are the ones who continue their mission even after falling and getting hurt” Support Pakistan Cricket Team!
