Aggressive Crowd Attack Rehman Malik in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Former Interior Minister of Pakistan, Rehman Malik, got attacked from angry protesters in Lady Reading Hospital of Peshawar today where he came to visit injured victims of yesterday’s church blast.

During Rehman Malik’s visit to the hospital on Monday, demonstrators expressed their outrage over reaching the former interior minister and severely attacked on him, local media reported.

Police officials who were present at the local appeared completely powerless to control the protestors belonging to the Christian community of Pakistan.

Protesters holding placards, pamphlets and shouting slogans against government officials and also against the terrorists involved in Peshawar attacks. Protesters were demanding Immediate arrest of people, who involved in the Peshawar Church blast.

According to details, at least 78 people, including, a large number of children and women were killed and more than 130 injured in the twin suicide blasts in a church of Peshawar on Sunday morning.
